JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: North America Sales Director ReportsDirectly: Senior Director, NA and EMEAI Sales and Marketing Nature andScope of Role: The NA Sales Director is a strategic position responsiblefor the creation and successful execution of the overall revenue growthstrategy for NA and annual bookings of \$200M+ annually. This role willown the national sales budget and directly lead the NA sales, programmanagement, applications engineering, and customer supportorganizations. This role will also coordinate with the supportingfunctions of marketing, product management, finance, and operations inthe achievement of strong year-over-year regional growth goals, with aparticular focus on organic growth/new business. The ideal candidate isan experienced industrial B-to-B sales leader who is well versed inmotion control and has proven experience building and inspiring abest-in-class national sales team that effectively balances the need tomaintain loyalty of existing customers with the need to aggressivelyhunt for and win new business in support of challenging annual organicgrowth goals. The ideal candidate also possesses expertise inrelationship-building and negotiation with the largest and moststrategic customers and distributor partners and uses a hands-onapproach to assuring that bookings and sales goals are achieved. Thisrole will leverage sales processes established in other MCS regions toformalize and evangelize a data-driven approach to systematicallyachieving goals for new growth, with a special focus on early stagefunnel development. The ideal candidate will champion a mindset ofcontinuous improvement and the use of RBS tools across all dimensions ofregional sales operations to maximize team efficiency and revenuegrowth. Specific Responsibilities Include: Develop annual 3-yearregional strategies/priorities that enable execution of corporatestrategies and annual growth goals. Coordinate a cross-functional,regional team to define and successfully execute a regional growthstrategy that aligns with division goals for growth. Establish and leadroutine touchpoints/reviews. Drives the creation of territory-levelgrowth plans and routine review of progress / results. Build and maturean organization and team motivated to drive growth. Key actions includeidentifying and developing key talent, putting the right team members inthe right roles, and establishing stretch goals and VDM to activelymanage and optimize progress to goals.
