　　What You’ll Get to Do:

　　CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Network Engineer . This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Network Design and Implementation:

　　Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network infrastructure.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design network solutions accordingly.

　　Deploy and configure network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

　　Network Security:

　　Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and security breaches.

　　Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and implement security measures to safeguard data.

　　Stay current on industry best practices and emerging security threats.

　　Network Troubleshooting and Optimization:

　　Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity, performance, and reliability problems.

　　Conduct regular network performance assessments and implement optimization strategies.

　　Collaborate with vendors and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.

　　Documentation and Reporting:

　　Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes.

　　Generate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and capacity planning.

　　Provide clear and concise documentation for network troubleshooting and resolution procedures.

　　Network Monitoring and Management:

　　Implement and maintain network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues.

　　Respond to alerts and incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

　　Perform routine network audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

　　Qualifications:

　　BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience

　　DOD 8570 IAT 3 compliance.

　　Active Secret Clarence (no waiver) and ability acquire TS/SCI clearance.

　　Proven experience as a Network Engineer or a similar role.

　　Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certifications are a plus.

　　In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security best practices.

　　Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
