　　Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer Position open at Grand Strand Medical Center!

　　Shift: M-F day shift

　　Job Summary:

　　Performs MRI examinations with protocols outlined by the Radiologist. Operates diagnostic MRI equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Develop, document, and introduce safe working procedures for the MR environment under the authority of the medical director/MR physician. Gather all necessary information on implants and identify any threats to or in the MR environment. Other duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling, transporting patients, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team. Protects patients and staff from the magnetic field.

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program

　　Required certification:ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) or ARRT Registered Radiographer.

　　BCLS within 30 days of start date.

　　MRSO must be obtained within 1 year of start date

　　Required Experience: 2 years as an MRI Tech
