We are seeking CONFIDENT and ENERGETIC Member Support Specialists to join our Club Pilates Southlands team! The ideal candidate will be POSITIVE and ENTHUSIASTIC, and have a passion for supporting our team and community by helping others to live their best lives through health and fitness. If you are FRIENDLY and willing to learn, while building relationships with new and existing clients, you'll be a great addition to our team! Club Pilates is also the first company to create a 500-hour Teacher Training Program designed to thoroughly and safely teach group Pilates apparatus classes along with TRX, Triggerpoint, and Barre.    POSITION: The purpose of the Member Support Specialist is to assist the Studio Manager with new membership sales and intro class bookings, support current members with their studio needs, and present all patrons with retail and service offerings. Member Support Specialists must be comfortable in a sales role, while also providing excellent member service. Pilates and/or fitness knowledge or background is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone who can be a part of our studio hype squad!!   RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES * Respond to customer emails, text messages and phone calls. This includes always answering the phone, returning texts, calls and emails the same day whenever possible, and escalating issues to management as needed * Execute sales protocols for prospect follow-up, membership sales, or intro class booking * Provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service to all prospects/members, in-person, over the phone, via text message, and email * Conduct tours of the facility while actively engaging with individuals * Achieve personal and studio level sales goals * Help to maintain a clean and orderly studio * Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, via email, and text message * Must be comfortable with public speaking in groups of up to 12 people * Strong sales and customer service skills * Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve membership, retail, and service objectives * Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system * Punctual, reliable, and professional * Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team * Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment * Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday * Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone * Reliable means of transportation to studio and occasional offsite events BENEFITS & PERKS * Hourly pay starting at $12 an hour + commission  * Opportunity to bonus, based on performance * Unlimited growth potential within the company * FREE Pilates classes and employee discount COMPANY CULTURE & CORE VALUES * People-oriented: We provide a positive, encouraging, and energetic environment that focuses on highlighting and growing the unique abilities of our team. * Team-oriented: Our team is cooperative and collaborative; we support our team and our community.
