Senior Cloud Security Architect will provide leadership regarding cloud security architecture in multi cloud environment, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. This role will perform a current state assessment of cloud security capability from people, process and technology perspective and recommend a strategy and roadmap to mature cloud security capability in line with IT’s cloud strategy. This role will also play a key part in supporting IT cloud teams in building a secure cloud infrastructure and platform.
In this Senior Cloud Security Architect role, you will:
Drive security architecture engagements with IT cloud projects by collaborating with project teams. The main responsibilities are - providing security architecture consultancy, review, risk assessment, and secure solutions.
Perform current state assessment of cloud security capability (people, process, technology)
Recommend cloud security strategy and roadmap to mature cloud security capability.
Socialize and get buy-in for the cloud security strategy and roadmap with right stakeholders.
Evaluate, recommend, and implement the right cloud security tools for Vontier.
Execute other security architecture related tasks assigned by the manager
At a minimum, we would like you to have:
7 years of experience in Information Security
3 years of experience in Cloud Security, Application Security, Security Testing and/or similar area of security.
Proven success delivering large, complex projects and programs.
Good grasp of enterprise cloud security solutions like CSPM, SASE, CASB and DLP.
At least one or more of cloud vendor certifications: AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, and/or Google Cloud Security Engineer.
CCSP, CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or other related Information Security certifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
Good understanding of security vulnerabilities and their mitigations
Good understanding of security frameworks like NIST and ISO27001
Familiarity with risk management methodologies, regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, FedRAMP, PCI-DSS), privacy and other information and data security requirements
Strong communication skills with all levels of an organization
The ability to communicate and express complex ideas in terms others can understand and convey technical security decisions in terms of business outcomes.
Some experience with enterprise security architecture and working as part of cross-functional team to implement technology and security solutions.
