Description

　　The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with an established healthcare practice in the Indianapolis area to find their next Medical Front Desk Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting and be proficient in Microsoft Word, email, and databases. This is a float position and you occasionally be between 2 locations.

　　Responsibilities for this position would include the following:

　　Patient registration and updating of patient demographics

　　Collecting and verifying insurance information

　　Answering patient phone calls

　　Scheduling patient appointments

　　Being the first point of contact for our office

　　Medicaid application screenings

　　Effectively interacting with patients and physicians in a fast-paced environment

　　Requirements

　　High school diploma or equivalent

　　1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting

　　Proficiency in Microsoft Word, email, and databases

　　Excellent customer service skills

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a team

　　Strong organizational and time management skills
