Aerotek is currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for a phenomenal career opportunity in the Kansas City, Missouri area! Qualified candidates must have experience leading 20+ direct reports in a manufacturing/production setting. Automotive production maintenance experience is preferred, but not required.
Job Description;
Coach Safety, Quality, and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work
Lead skilled trades/maintenance personnel to evaluate controls requirements for maintaining and improving production efficiency, output, and up time
Supervise preventive maintenance schedules, inspections and repairs to minimize down time
Coordinate and schedule manpower and materials to meet maintenance requirements to minimize down time
Responsible for monitoring day-to-day production processes, tooling, and operations related to automation equipment
Analyze equipment performance and work to improve efficiency.
Coordinate equipment refurbishment
Determine and correct root cause of controls related downtime issues and get them fixed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
HS Diploma required
Comfortable working any shift (days, nights, weekends, rotating schedules, etc.)
Fundamental working knowledge of PLCs; RS logic would be ideal
Experience with overhead conveyor maintenance and repair, automated/robotic equipment, etc.
Prior industrial maintenance supervision experience is required
Prior experience with the automotive industry is a plus, but not required
