Description:

　　We are hiring for one of the nation's leading brick manufacturers. We are looking for a talented and knowledgeable Maintenance Technician to join the team at our plant location in Shoemakersville, PA. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment.

　　Position Summary:

　　The ideal candidate will be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. This is a hand's on job, which includes mechanical, welding and fabrication skills, blueprint reading, basic carpentry and math skills. An ideal candidate would also be able to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on a wide variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

　　The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support for the operations of a fast-paced plant. Key duties are to support production lines with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills to include: raw material processing, manufacturing, quality control, packaging, shipping/inventory and maintenance to include rotations of duties within the plant; practice 5S method in diverse environment.

　　REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

　　General knowledge of all maintenance fields: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics operated equipment, as well as electronic and vacuum systems preferred

　　Basic computer skills.

　　Ability to troubleshoot required.

　　Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

　　Must be able to rotate shifts

　　2nd Shift: 4pm - 12pm M-F

　　3rd Electrician, S-Th + OT 12p-8a
