DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Criminal Justice System Specialist Manager 1, you will work under the direction of the Deputy Director as a senior level staff member within the Office of Victims Services of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. This position manages the Office of Victim Services' Data Collection, Reporting, Outcomes Project (DCROP), primarily responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality crime victim services throughout the Commonwealth through planning and administration of outcomes that evaluates victim service program services; managing the preparation of data reports for state and federal reporting requirements; managing and directing the biannual statewide victim service conference and the biannual Governor's Pathfinder Awards.
This position involves and requires knowledge of a large and diverse number of victim services-related state and federal funding initiatives for data collection, reporting, and outcomes that includes the Rights and Services Act Program (RASA), the Victims of Juvenile Offenders Program (VOJO), the Federal Victims of Crime Act Program (VOCA), the Federal STOP Violence Against Women Program (STOP VAWA), and the federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment (37.5-hour work week)Hours of work are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 1-hour (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) lunch.Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, reporting to the office 1 day per week and as needed. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed Internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.Travel on short notice, both in and out of state, may be required in this position.This position is eligible for retirement benefits at age of 60 or 65.Free on street parking available.Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $74,191.00 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
