Field Technician operates and manages gas migration control/recovery systems including gas well monitoring and adjustment, troubleshooting, and system repairs. We are looking for a Field Technician to service the Dallas Forth Worth, TX and into Southern Oklahoma area. Will get a company take home truck once fully trained. Out of town work is required, $55 per diem is issued and company pays for hotel.
Pay: $18-20/hr, working roughly 60 hours per week
Description:
Serves as a Laborer for the construction of landfill gas collection or other environmental pollution control systems.
• Perform work in a professional, productive and safe manner.
• Continually strive to improve the Office’s and ones’ own, health & safety performance.
• Adopt the principles of SCS’s Safety Culture.
• Understand the Company’s philosophy regarding behavior-based safety and play a part in eliminating unsafe practices and conditions.
Field sampling of different test locations including wells, probes, headers, blowers, flares, pumps, etc.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain various analytical and monitoring equipment.
Perform maintenance activities such as greasing blowers, cleaning tanks, fusing pipe, and repairing pumps just to name a few.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with pipe or mechanical experience
• Operating experience is preferred (forklift, small equipment)
• Advanced technical skills related to the operation and maintenance of pipe fusion equipment. Forklift experience preferred
• 1 to 3 years in general construction experience required
• Must be flexible with being on call for emergencies, working overtime and weekends as needed. Travel is required
• Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing required
• Must meet physical requirements for driving (pick-up truck), lifting and carrying
