Description
DUTIES:
Analyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code to reuse existing code. May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies. May participate in projects including preparing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy, and delivering results on time.
Researches and recommends innovative technologies and approaches for enterprise infrastructure management, integrations, or improvements, while adhering to technical or budgetary constraints. Obtains and evaluates information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration. Participates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Participates in the application upgrades and platform upgrades. Provides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.
Writes and reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts. Assists in preparing project plans using project management tools. Reviews test results; documents test activities, and records remedial actions. Ensures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering (any), or related.
Five (5) years in any occupation in which development, engineering, or related experience is gained. Five (5) years application development and testing experience must include:
Enterprise Security and Financial Service domains; Enterprise Implementation and Change Management experience; Identity Management Solutions: Sailpoint; Identity Management Infrastructure, databases/repositories, and connected systems including Active Directory LDAP, Exchange (in-perm and cloud), ServiceNow, and Oracle PeopleSoft products; Identity management solutions with user and account management, provisioning and de-provisioning, role based access control framework and role management, access certification or attestation, segregation of duties, or reports; Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems; Oracle and SQL databases; Applications tools: Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Test Manager, and Team Foundation Server; Programming languages: Java and VB.NET.; Scripting languages: BeanShell and PowerShell; Analyzing logs and identifying problems with access, authentication, and authorization; and experience in Infrastructure design, artifact management and documentation.
