About IT Infrastructure Specialist

  Your Role

  The IT Infrastructure Specialist works within the IT/IS function. IT/IS in Kuehne+Nagel is a fondamental asset for the business and encompasses a wide range of activities and services. They are accountable to provide day to day IT support in a highly innovative Logistics Fullfilment Center in Mantova. In such a technologically advance environment, they work in a team of IT Experts to guarantee the business continuity of the site and efficiency of IT Infrastructure. to support business throughout its operativity and to foster continous IT infrastrucure innovation and digital transformation. They are part of the IT Department and contribute to help desk activities while maintaining the IT infrastructure. Provide support to deliver consistent and high quality standards of services, promoting continuous improvement with a focus on IT security.

  Your Responsibilities

  Security:

  Assist in monitoring daily activities of IT KPIs, contributing to IT security

  Report any risks (HW or SW) that could compromise the smooth operation of information systems

  Technical Features:

  Monitor PRTG and ensure the functioning of all Italian Servers, Databases, and Network components

  Daily checks on the execution of Backup Procedures

  Archive and maintain IT documentation on the Team’s Wiki

  User Support:

  Collaborate with Help Desk Support for all Italian sites/offices

  Assist in the maintenance of all local hardware across Italian sites

  Support requirements gathering for new sites, warehouses, and businesses

  Process Improvement:

  Collaborate in the submission of proposals and ideas for improving IT InfrastructureYour Skills and Experiences

  High School Diploma

  at least 1 years of related experience

  MS Office: Intermediate user

  English: Intermediate, Italian: Native

  Driver’s License: Required
