Primary Accountability - Responsible for providing technical support for the companys computer systems.

　　**Description of Primary Responsibilities1) Maintains personal workstations and peripherals:a) Deploys new personal computers, assembling as necessary, loading system and application software/updates and preparing for use,b) Prepares orders of personal computers, parts and supplies according to established specifications,c) Rebuilds existing personal computers, upgrading memory, software/updates and other hardware and software components to bring equipment to standards.

　　2) Provides hardware and software support on network equipment:a) Performs software upgrades to network systems,b) Troubleshoots network connectivity issues; wires or repairs physical connections to network servers,c) Conducts minor repairs and upgrades to network hardware,d) Meets with employees to provide feedback, creates and follows through with employee development plans.

　　3) Provides technical support to communications systems:a) Applies and administers operating server updates, patches, and configuration changes,b) Configures new hardware and software on employee computers,c) Administers the company cell phone program, including ordering services and equipment and activating accounts, and providing support to users.

　　4) Provides maintenance support for the companys websites:a) Provides maintenance support for the companys intranet site,b) Provides maintenance support for the companys public website.

　　5) Provides hardware and software support to users:a) Troubleshoots user problems with hardware and software, network connectivity, etc.,b) Assists in resolution of software and hardware issues; provides solutions for routine and moderately complex issues,c) Recommends long term solutions to resolve persistent user difficulties.d) Proficient with various hardware/software applications used within the company.

　　6) Ensures information technology hardware and software is maintained:a) Manage the server file management and provide adequate server file space,b) Performs back-up on all necessary computers, rotates backup media items.

　　7) Administers the Companys network and network servers:a) Ensures company network(s) are configured to maximize the efficiency of the system to meet company needs,b) Applies and administers operating server updates, patches, and configuration changes,c) Maintains network security through the router firewalls, VPNs, TrendMicro Antivirus and web filter application software (Network and network server administration),d) Ensures all servers are running smoothly,e) Answers technical queries and troubleshoots reported problems,f) Maintains the VOIP, Firewall, Public Website, Intranet Website, and DNSs Network Solutions,g) Provides support on Apple devices,h) Monitors and manages the AE network and the DNSs at Network Solutions,i) Provides support on critical and SCADA issues.

　　Technical Skills:1) Proficient in assembling personal computer hardware, including common upgrades such as physical memory, power supplies nd various connections.2) Is able to understand network hardware design and connectivity and to diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.3) Has the ability to understand basic network communication skills for SCADA environment.
