As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will design and develop Power BI dashboards that transforms data into meaningful insights for business and operational leaders. The Business Intelligence Analyst is a hands-on team player that that will have data subject matter expertise to drive business insights with decision making analytics and visualizations. The successful candidate will deliver analytics creation, datasets, dashboards, and visualizations across the ASM Global portfolio. This role will play a crucial role in growing the adoption and day to day usage of analytics across our organization, focused on providing valuable insights and KPIs driving competitive advantage and operational excellence.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
· Determine the business problem that needs to be solved, analyze relevant data to find insights, determine the most important insights or messages that will resonate with the audience and help them understand the data.
· Combines data analytics, visualization, and storytelling techniques to present the key messages in an engaging and compelling way.
· Develop visually appealing and user-centric data visualizations and designs with Power BI.
· Continuously enhance existing dashboard usability based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
· Utilize Power Query and Power BI to analyze large datasets ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
· Expertise in crafting DAX statements to create dynamic columns and measures.
· Ability to extract and transform data leveraging Power Query.
· Ensure that the data is accurate, reliable, and secure, and that it complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
· Drive the adoption of BI dashboards by end-users through effective communication and training.
· Work with our business partners to prioritize and drive value from our BI capabilities.
· Support leadership and executive analytics requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
· Provide oversight and guidance to projects needing expected BI deliverables.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
· Minimum three years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Warehouses
· Minimum two years of hands-on experience in Power Query and Power BI
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Strong project management skills and able to concurrently oversee portfolio of small enhancements to complex projects.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for BI solutions.
· Experimental mindset to drive innovation.
· Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Desired Experience
· Live event and/or food services industry experience.
· Advanced degree in a relevant field.
· Certification in Power BI or related BI tools.
· Familiarity with advanced data analytics and machine learning concepts.
· Knowledge of cloud-based BI solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS, Databricks).
· Strong understanding of data security and compliance in BI environments.
