　　A Northern Ohio manufacturer is looking for an Investment Casting Engineer. Candidates should have a BS Engineering degree and at least 3 years' experience in investment casting. Experience supplying castings to the aerospace industry under AS9100 is a plus. Must have experience in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T). Relocation, salary, bonus and benefits.

　　responsibilities:

　　Comply with and support all EH&S activities while operating in a safe, honest, and ethical manner.

　　Design and optimize gating for investment casting products.

　　Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), routings, work instructions, and bills of material for investment casting products.

　　Achieve and maintain necessary quality levels for investment casting portfolio; including radiographic, geometric, and material property requirements; implementing corrective actions where necessary.

　　Evaluates performance of manufacturing operations and expedites actions as required to obtain maximum production efficiency.

　　Maintain product schedule and relationships with key vendors.

　　Independently drive and lead multiple programs with various customers.

　　Perform detailed cost analysis for new products and cost reduction opportunities.

　　Evaluates operations direct variable cost (DVC) and manufacturing yield performance. Recommends and implements cost reduction activities.

　　Operate independently of direct management while keeping management informed of progress and any important issues.

　　Support new products with customer visits as required.

　　Assist with other duties as assigned by Engineering Supervisor.
