Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy, providing insightful analysis, and supporting key decision-making processes within the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing and a proven track record of success.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights for business performance evaluation.
Utilize advanced systems such as Tableau, Hyperion, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance overall efficiency.
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior members of the finance team.
Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics, providing recommendations based on analysis and research.
Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required by the finance leadership team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and planning.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and utilizing systems such as Tableau, Hyperion, Power BI, SQL, or similar.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is a huge plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
