About Ecom Inside Sales Representative

  The Job:

  The E Com Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing revenue opportunities with targeted existing and new customers through communication, programs and other sales related activities. The role will require strong communication and organizational skills that can consistently communicate (e-mail,phone, website, portal, etc.) to assigned customers across wide geography. This role will generate sales by working with customers to effectively develop and implement Emery Jensen programs both B to B and B to C. He/She must be comfortable making calls, generating interest, qualifying prospects and identifying top performing customers with high potential.

  What you will do…

  Proactively identify, solicit and motivate targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold-calling, lead qualifying, presenting proposals and sales funnel management.

  Serve as primary point of contact for prospects and leads and communicate to to all customers promptly and effectively.

  Act as our Quick Order Entry subject matter expert, consulting with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize customer opportunities, conduct customer demos, and support with Quick Order Entry customer onboarding.

  Leverage and facilitate alternative purchasing solutions for non-viable EJD customers.

  Develop a basic understanding of EDI data transactions and work with in house IT team to onboard new accounts through integration.

  Effectively communicate and build cross functional relationships to support role – Sales, Merch, Sales op’s, Customer service.

  Understand our competition and their approach. Build communication and sales management process to be “Best in Class”

  Occasionally travel to visit customers, attend training meetings and industry events.

  What you need to succeed…

  Personally motivated self-starter and results oriented individual focused on solutions based on customer’s needs.

  Proven track record of converting prospects to customers

  Comfortable making cold calls to leads and prospects

  3+ years of Business to Business sales experience preferred.

  Proven track record of exceeding sales targets

  Hardware sales experience a plus.

  Excellent listening and negotiating skills.

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  Proven ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities.

  High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.

  Position is based out of Oak Brook, IL
