　　The Manufacturing Engineering Intern will be responsible for supporting, improving and sustaining production processes for manufacturing operations consistent with team objectives. He or she will interact with manufacturing engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions. Paid internship, Full-Time, Summer 2024, Start and end dates flexible.

　　ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

　　Under the direction of the Director of Engineering or program manufacturing Engineer, utilizes judgment in performance of duties in conjunction with company policies, procedures, and processes.

　　Performs process capabilities studies for various manufacturing processes. - Set up or expand method to track/trend.

　　Works on assigned projects related to production improvements. - Help define/design small upgrades or identify source for improved components.

　　Works with High Performance Teams and various engineers on miscellaneous continuous improvement projects.

　　Assists with various related engineering functions, e.g., design, create and improve production planning, costs reduction, and quality control.

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Education:

　　Actively enrolled in a 4-year Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.

　　2-3 years of college engineering courses required.

　　Experience:

　　Hands on ability to build/ assemble

　　Entry level mechanical aptitude (preferred)

　　Programming experience in C++, Python, or other languages (preferred)

　　Skills:

　　Solidworks, NX, or other CAD (preferred)

　　MS Office suite

　　Highly organized

　　Strong communication skills

　　Able to work alone or within a team

　　Self-motivated to complete tasks timely

　　Physical Demands:

　　Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $20.10 hourly to $30.10 hourly.
