Description We are offering a role in the accounting industry for a Public Senior Accountant located in Los Gatos, California. The role is predominantly remote and focuses on various accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, Auditing, and understanding of GAAP. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks

• Performing audits and ensuring compliance with US GAAP

• Using Accounting Software Systems for various accounting tasks

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for data analysis and reporting

• Regularly using Quickbooks Online for managing and maintaining financial information

• Responding to and resolving any issues or inquiries related to accounting processes. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role

• Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites is required

• Must have experience in auditing processes and procedures

• Familiarity with Quickbooks Online is a must

• Should have a thorough understanding of US GAAP

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Professional certification such as CPA is preferred

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities
