BIM Internship - Role and Responsibilities As a BIM Intern, you'll play a crucial role in supporting decision-making and project management by generating and managing Building Information Model (BIM) projects. Your tasks will involve three-dimensionally modeling and detailing projects related to drywall, metal framing, metal deck, and other specialty construction work scopes. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Project Support: Assist in modeling, coordinating, and pre-planning activities related to projects. Ensure the smooth execution of goals within specified time frames and budget parameters. Effective Communication: Collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that project elements are accurate, useful, and clearly understood, adding value to the overall project. Customer Relationships: Learn the art of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, a vital skill in the construction industry. Qualifications / Prerequisites: We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the construction field. The ideal candidate should have: Currently seeking and education (A.A.S) in drafting, CAD Design, or related fields. Proficiency in BIM software (such as Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools). Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to engage with project teams at all levels.
