The Role

This role is crucial in offering strategic and analytical insights to the Mid-Market and Product Technical Support teams, with a focus on sales and revenue. Reporting to the Sr. Director of FPA on the AGT Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) team, this position collaborates closely with Lumen’s Sales teams, Business Operations teams, and peer FPA teams. Key responsibilities include supporting KPI tracking, forecasting, and providing actionable insight reporting to guide financial-impacting business decisions.

This role is designated as fully remote, US.

The Main Responsibilities

Deliver monthly financial performance and variance analysis to the business and FPA leadership.

Assist in coordination, input and analysis of monthly forecasts and annual budgeting cycle.

Develop forecast trends and track actual performance against those goals.

Complete financial analysis and reporting activities, validating own work, and ensuring accuracy of results.

Gather, analyze, and interpret operational metrics to understand underlying drivers of business performance.

Conducts financial analysis and uses findings to help guide the business in making decisions.

Builds professional relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization; presents results of financial analysis and reporting to all levels of management.

Collaborate with teams across the organization for ongoing process improvements to increase automation and efficiency.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required

Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years related experience.

Forecasting/Planning experience using detailed modeling.

Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experience with analytic and business intelligence software (SAP Analytics Cloud, Essbase, Anaplan, Power BI experience a plus)

Knowledge of financial concepts such as CLV, NPV, ROI, Margin, etc.

Proven ability to work well in a fast paced and ever-changing environment with short deadlines while maintaining confidentiality

Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment

Good analytical/inquisitive thinking skills a must, with the ability to effectively summarize and communicate conclusions (via oral or written).

Detail oriented and thoroughly reviews work to ensure accuracy of results/analysis produced with the ability to maintain big picture perspective.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$66,375 - $88,500 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.

$69,694 - $92,925 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.

$73,013 - $97,350 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
