HOUSING SPECIALIST

　　PART TIME

　　Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)

　　Bedford, MA (mobile position in the surrounding communities)

　　The Edinburg Center is seeking a Housing Specialist within our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT).

　　What You Will Do:

　　Responsible for assisting Persons Served with finding stable housing by learning to:

　　Evaluate DMH and Edinburg Center subsidized housing sites.

　　Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing/certification requirements and regulations.

　　Coordinate housing searches and completion of paperwork related to housing subsidies.

　　Develop and maintains positive relationships with realtors and landlords in the PACT catchment area.

　　Utilize an assertive outreach model as a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team.

　　Who You Are:

　　BA/BS preferred. Minimum of two year's experience working with adults with major mental illness and co-occurring substance abuse disorders preferred. Ability to learn about housing. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required.
