About Home Savers Specialist

  Description

  Summary: The Home Savers Specialist performs loan modification processing duties.

  Duties and Responsibilities:

  Assists with compliance of Dodd/Frank and other regulatory requirements.

  Provides a line of defense ensuring accurate documents are sent to the customer to ensure compliance with regulations and investor guidelines.(Regulation 1024.41)

  Reviews loan documents prior to documents being sent to the customer.

  Performs initial review of modification application documents.

  Tracks modification stipulations and document requests from the customer.

  Basic Qualifications:

  High school diploma or equivalent

  One or more years of Customer Service experience.

  NOTE: This position is considered to be a Mortgage Loan Originator under the SAFE Act. Registration required.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Experience with MSP

  Experience with all Windows 10 Office Products ex: excel , outlook

  Cash flow analysis skills reviewing personal and business tax returns, P&L statements and financial statements

  Experience with risk accountability, law and regulation compliance and audit/regulatory examination response

  Knowledge of all standard mortgage loan documents including, but not limited to: appraisals, title reports, income verification, purchase contracts, lease agreements, trusts, warranty deeds, etc.

  Ability to accurately interpret, apply and explain policy/procedures to both internal and external customers

  Ability to work in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision, while maintaining production service levels

  Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high-level of flexibility

  Adhere to bank policies and procedures and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

  Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, plan and provide consistent follow-up

  Proven ability to pay attention to detail

  Excellent customer service skills

  Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
