THE ROLE
We are seeking a global practice leader with a track record of high value-creation and building dynamic teams to scale our Cyber Security Services business. This executive will drive the vision, strategy, and capabilities for this $200 million practice, serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to global corporations and provide inspiring leadership on multiple dimensions across Cognizant. Cognizant's leadership anticipates this practice to be a $1B business within a few years.
The Head of Cyber Security Services reports to the Global Head of Cloud Infra and Security Business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Core member of senior leadership team responsible for developing and executing a GTM blueprint to substantially increase and expand market share, brand, and client awareness of the CSS practice.Develop vision & executable strategy for business growth for the next 3 years using the market insights & competitor trends.Ensure cyber security practice area revenue growth in line or above market.Define the cyber security practice area.Design and develop a suite of repeatable and scalable offerings that address critical client business outcomes.Manage/direct translation of business problems into IT solutions & work with sales leads; assist sales team qualifying prospects.Participate with sales and account teams in executing select account penetration strategies.Be accountable for directing the deal pursuit process end to end within the service line.Ensure Pre-Sales team is engaging clients in region to explore opportunities and better define desired business outcomes, through workshops/digital dialogues/demos/PoCs.Provide input for Pre-Sales team to support priority customers in imagining how solutions can support and improve their business.Engage with external analysts to position the cyber security practice area expertise.Define thought leadership & portfolio strategy, publish, educate the market and drive commercial conversations.Own alliance relations and partnership with vendors.Establish and develop new strategic alliances and partnerships to better business outcomes.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue business development opportunities, serve as a trusted advisor and interface with CxO clients and manage our alliance with Microsoft.Senior leadership role in product management, broad technical expertise, experienced in managing large global teams. Domain expertise across various platforms and key verticals in MS environment.Demonstrated commitment to building a practice and proven success leading, growing and developing a successful professional services team. Proven Experience managing a sizeable global P&L and revenue targets along with the demonstrated ability to exceed such targets.Proven ability to operate successfully in a collaborative, matrixed global organizational structureIdeally, experience with integrating acquisitions or identifying acquisition targets.Ability to generate and oversee actionable and impactful product roadmap to achieve strategic milestones. Technical prowess: Superior tech expertise (such as cloud migration, legacy and tech stack modernization, platform driven smart development. citizen and cloud native dev, platform led app maintenance) to understand client needs, industry trends and have capability to organize services to bring competitive offerings to market.Industry knowledge: Deep knowledge of IT services/IT outsourcing globally. Effectively communicate across senior stakeholders with executive presence.In addition, the successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, enterprising, collaborative, and personable; possessing gravitas, sound business acumen and strong leadership skills necessary to grow, support, and sustain the CSS practice.
LOCATION
This role can be centered in one of Cognizant's 36 major US offices or from a US based home office.
SALARY AND OTHER COMPENSATION
The annual salary for this position is between $244,000.00 and $307,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
