Role purpose:
Our Bus Operators serve as true ambassadors being the daily facerepresenting Keolis, ensuring our riders are being delivered safely,courteously, and provide on-time service.
Knowledge and Experience:
Must be minimum 21 years of age3 years verifiable valid Drivers licenseMust have a valid drivers licenseMust be able to obtain and maintain a Arizona CDL class B licensewith passenger endorsementMust have clean driving record DMV printout required for the last 10yearsMust have stable work historySkills:

Customer Service:
Ensure customers feel welcomeEffectively communicate with passengers especially in the event ofservice disruptionsProvide passengers with assistance as neededAccommodate passengers with information such as schedule, guidance,ect.Safety:
Ensure safe on-road operations while maintaining on-time performanceFamiliarity with assigned routing and detoursAwareness of ADA Policies and ProceduresUnderstanding of ADA ComplianceProper operation of all wheelchair lifts, for each bus modelReport immediately to dispatch any vehicular accident or passengerincident and follow the incident and accident reporting proceduresOperations:
Collect the prescribed fares and notify dispatch of any type of fareevasion or fraudPerform pre and post trip inspections and enter all defects into theZONAR systemFollow exact deadhead routing and their assigned revenue serviceroutesDepart the start of each route exactly on-time and never operateahead of scheduleReport any bunching of buses or other problems that may disruptscheduled servicePerform other duties as assignedAdditional Statements:
- - Drug and alcohol screening: Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen. Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check. Must pass a physical examination.
