  Objectives of the Position

  We are looking for an Scrum Master to facilitate the Scrum process, enabling the squad to work efficiently, and promoting continuous improvement to deliver for enterprise-grade IT solutions for BASF Agricultural. The role involves both technical and leadership skills to drive efficient product delivery.

  High-level objectives are as follows:

  Main Tasks

  Ensure that the Scrum framework is understood and implemented correctly by the Scrum Team, including the Product Owner and Development Team.

  Organize and facilitate Scrum events, such as Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, to ensure they run smoothly and effectively.

  Identify and eliminate any obstacles or impediments that are hindering the progress of the Scrum Team. This could involve liaising with external stakeholders or addressing internal issues.

  Embrace a servant leadership approach by supporting the team's needs, enabling self-organization, and fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

  Provide guidance and coaching to the Scrum Team and stakeholders in understanding and adopting Scrum principles and practices.

  Promote a culture of continuous improvement by facilitating Sprint Retrospectives and encouraging the team to identify and implement enhancements in their processes and practices.

  Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to ensure the Product Backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and understood by the team.

  Help the team understand and use relevant metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and maintain transparency.

  Mediate conflicts and facilitate open communication within the team, encouraging constructive discussions to resolve issues.

  Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders and ensure their expectations align with the team's capabilities.

  Ensure alignment between the team's work and the organization's goals and priorities, helping the team deliver value that aligns with customer and business needs.

  Identify and address risks and dependencies that may affect the team's ability to deliver the planned increments of work.

  Foster a sense of ownership and empowerment within the team, encouraging them to make decisions and take responsibility for their work.

  Requirements

  Education

  Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or business-technology related disciplineWorking Experience

  Min. 3-5 years of professional experience in IT and / or IT ConsultingSkills
