Join our team and be part of shaping the future of aerospace technology. We are currently seeking a dynamic Experienced or Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Berkeley, MO.
Both the Experienced and Senior Financial Analysts play a pivotal role in supporting the St. Louis Site Fighters programs, collaborating closely with operations, supply chain, engineers and program managers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of cutting-edge projects in the aerospace and defense industry.
Position Responsibilities:
Maintains financial controls related to financial system activities
Supports baseline and estimate at completion system incorporation activities
Reviews and validates change documents (CDs) as part of baseline execution
Responsible for financial system month end processing activities and financial system data integrity
Reviews, analyzes and maintains cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value, and variance analyses and communicates cost and/or schedule trends
Prepares monthly financial reporting deliverables, both internal and external
Initiates variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to management
Provides cost reporting utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)
Financial Analysis:
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support the Fighters program, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Utilize your analytical skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that contribute to a deeper understanding of project dynamics
Analysis of resource forecasts, control account EACs, and financial EACs
Cost Management:
Monitor program expenses, identifying trends and potential risks
Provide recommendations for cost optimization and contribute to cost-benefit analysis
Provide a holistic view of project dynamics, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions
Support the development and maintenance of cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines, including earned value
Reporting and Briefings:
Prepare comprehensive financial reports for various stakeholders, including Finance and Program Leadership
Develop and present financial information for briefings, ensuring clarity and transparency
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with teams within the Program and Boeing Defense and Space Finance organization to ensure financial alignment and accuracy
Collaborate on strategic initiatives and financial planning activities
Clear Communication:
Provide clear and concise explanations to management, ensuring they have a deep understanding of project dynamics
Bridge the gap between complex financial data and actionable insights
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
1+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA
Experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills and Experience):
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business or related degree
Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in Senior Leadership briefings
Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience performing Estimates at Complete (EAC)
Typical Education/Experience:
Experienced (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Senior (Level 4)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Experienced (Level 3): $79,050 - $93,000
Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $99,450 - $117,000
