Vector is seeking an experienced, hands-on, pro-active, Director of Finance, to lead the accounting function of Vector North America. The successful candidate will be well-versed in accounting/ GAAP concepts that align with global finance and accounting objectives. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact on a growing subsidiary of an international automotive software company. You will:

　　Manage complex and confidential company financial records and operates with signification discretion and initiative to fulfill global and local reporting and compliance needs.

　　Review and ensure the accurate reporting of all financial information disseminated by the department.

　　Manage day-to-day activity, including preparation of financial reporting, posting and review of journal entries, preparing reconciliations, review of the general ledger, accounts receivable and payables.

　　Manage all areas of tax throughout the organization, including troubleshooting/reconciling monthly sales tax reports, registration of new states for Corporate, Withholding & Sales tax as needed, troubleshooting notices from federal / state authorities, preparing annual multi-state Property Tax filings and processing quarterly /annual federal and state estimated taxes.

　　Oversee all Corporate insurance including preparation of the annual Worker’s compensation audit and obtaining COI for customers.

　　Manage and approves biweekly payroll process.

　　Prepare both quarterly and annual forecasting.

　　Ensure the company is compliant with GAAP, IRS standards, and other applicable financial standards.

　　Responsible for the annual financial audit and act as the main point of contact with the auditing firm.

　　Provide assistance on special projects as requested by the local or global leadership teams.

　　Foster positive relationships with other business units, departments and third parties, providing exceptional customer service satisfaction.

　　Manage and mentor accounting staff.

　　Demonstrates Vector management values.

　　Requirements

　　The ideal candidate will have:

　　· 7-10 years broad accounting management experience.

　　· Experience in the automotive industry preferred.

　　· Excellent financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

　　· Proactive, results-oriented team player with excellent organizational and leadership skills

　　· Business acumen to collaborate and communicate with all levels of the organization.

　　· Experience with SAP, AVALARA, and advanced Excel skills

　　· Strong communication skills

　　· High level of ethics and integrity

　　· B.S. in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
