　　VCA Animal Emergency Hospital Southeast in Houston, Texas is an AAHA-Accredited small animal emergency hospital in Southeast Houston, TX, looking for an experienced veterinary assistant or experienced credentialed veterinary technician to work with us.

In an emergency setting, you will certainly have the opportunity to collaborate with doctors to utilize your skills and knowledge to provide top-notch patient care.

　　Some of the general responsibilities/duties include:

　　Triaging patients

　　Performing diagnostics

　　Administering treatments

　　Anesthetic induction and intubation of small animals

　　Confidently/knowledgeably monitoring anesthesia

　　IV cannulation (blood draws, peripheral/central IV catheter placements)

　　Communicating with clients

　　Overseeing critical care of ICU patients

　　Surgical assistance

　　Maintain a clean and safe work environment

　　Follow protocols and policies

　　A commitment to professional collaboration with fellow VCA associates
