This means working closely with us as we engage in strategic, ground floor discussions with some of the fastest-growing players in electric vehicles and energy as partners.Deeply understand the problems customers and users must solve to succeed and aligning in the massive energy transition underway in transportation.Become the go-to knowledge source in sustainability for sales, across FULLSIGHTBuild a robust and ever-expanding pipeline of customersOrganize and lead sales callsNegotiate contractual terms of sales and collaborate with Customer Success to ensure account training, growth, use of products and renewalKeep informed on industry news and trends; collect product competitive market intelligenceParticipate in tradeshows, conferences and seminarsQualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceBachelors of science in systems engineering, environmental or other degree with proven knowledge base in sustainability-adjacent areas: business, economics, ethics, law, philosophy, policy, sociology, etc.3-5 years sales experience in related industries (transportation a plus).Evidence of drive, curiosity and commitment to helping SAE International be a key player in the future of transportation through strategic relationships that lead to new business.Polished, strong presenter with advanced communication skills, including presenting to large groups and at conferences or trade shows.Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), CRM software (SalesForce, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent).Capable of domestic and international travels (up to 30% of working days).Relentless curiosity about/burning desire to see how business can succeed while making life on the planet sustainable for future generations.Travel - 40%
