You are expected to collaborate with multiple teams across multiple sites to deliver positive results to our organization. You will be a leader, teacher, and mentor and help guide us through this transition into the IT/OT convergence and help lead the way to the Connected Enterprise.This Engineering Manager position is three-pronged: You must lead both an Agile test team and a system test team towards the development of high-quality Industrial IoT Switches, Routers & Firewalls and work in tandem with 3rd party partners towards the design and development of these switches. This role must also collaborate with the Networks Business team to provide essential networking industry and technical guidance to support the roadmap for future Networks Endeavors. Lastly you will support internal Architecture, Development and Test teams in the understanding of Ethernet Networking Best Practices and supporting lab infrastructure.You will report to the VP, Engineering.Your Responsibilities:Lead an Agile Test Team that operates using SAFe/Scrum methodology in collaboration with 3rd party partners to develop Industrial IoT Switches, Routers and Firewalls.Lead Networks-focused System Test Engineers responsible for over 20 Testbeds.Collaborate with the Networks Business team to maintain close engagement between the teams and keeping all Networks resources on the same page, including communication with 3rd parties.Understand Ethernet standards and related Network Technologies and explain these concepts to different personnel.Lead Networking subject matter experts in the troubleshooting of networking related issues throughout the Software & Control organization and represent Networks Team in anomaly resolution and risk mitigation for network specific topics with development/test staff.Participate in the relationship management efforts with all our 3rd party partners to ensure Rockwell remains in good standing with our partners.Serve as Networking consultant within Rockwell.Stay current and be conversant with the latest networking trends, related Industry 4.0 technologies, and IT/OT best practices.Demonstrate curiosity in new technologies & products that could add value to the Rockwell network offerings.
