JOB OVERVIEW We are lookingfor a General Laborer to take up manual labor tasks and supportoperations in worksites. One of the most important general laborerresponsibilities is to keep the site clean and safe, free of debris andother waste. You\'ll also get to handle power tools and materials (suchas saws and drills). We\'d like you to have stamina and the ability tolift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing yourtasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, andyou\'re also interested in doing tough but important work, we\'d like tomeet you. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Clean up worksites from hazardousor obsolete material * Assist welders, assemblers, painters or othertradespeople on-site * Handle and transport materials and equipment(e.g. drills and grinders) * Use power tools and machinery (e.g.forklifts) when needed * Follow instructions from supervisors toperform manual labor tasks * Put up warning signs (e.g. signposts,cones) for vehicles and passersby * Help with setting up andtransferring temporary structures * Report issues with equipment orunsafe conditions Position Requirements Ability to meet the physicaldemands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavyloads of up to 40 pounds etc.) *Good hand-eye coordination *Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus * Communicationand teamwork skills * Commitment to safety rules EOE Statement We arean equal employment opportunity employer.
