Description
On behalf of our well-established healthcare client, Robert Half is looking for a motivated and achievement-oriented EDI Analyst. This individual will get to coordinate with network engineering, business application, and database administration functions to ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of eCommerce systems to meet business demands. The ideal candidate will be able to perform system configuration, mapping, and management for EDI-based transactions and processes. Please apply today for immediate consideration.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to
Lead, coordinate, and administer key process improvements to Internet-based EDI implementations.
Participate in design and review of new applications and integration strategies of EDI and other eCommerce-based systems.
Lead transitions of EDI systems to next-generation environments and/or cross-functional business systems.
Skills Needed
Ability to conduct research into, document and recommend eCommerce products as required,
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment,
Ability to present ideas in business-oriented and user-friendly language,
Analytical Skills, Attentive to Detail

Requirements
Minimum Educational Requirements
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 4 years equivalent work experience.
Specific knowledge of Microsoft (2003) Server platform required.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining EDI systems.
Knowledge of EDI standard formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and EDI translators.
Comfortability with EDI Mapping
Working technical knowledge of coding using SQL.
Familiarity with Internet protocols including HTML, XML, HTTPS and FTP.
Good technical knowledge of current network hardware and standards, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, VPN, hubs, routers, etc.
Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
