  ABOUT THE JOB:

  At WillScot Mobile Mini, the Director of Sales Engagement & Training will partner with our internal business leaders to successfully implement best practices for our sales team, driving positive business results.

  Through strategic planning, meticulous execution, and collaboration with leadership, this role will play a pivotal role in addressing the most crucial training and development challenges for sales teams. We are looking for a unique blend of business acumen, analytical proficiency, and the ability to drive strategic decisions with precision. We will look to you to connect the dots, discern interrelations and impacts among diverse teams, and articulate recommendations, available options, and various implications with clarity. This role offers numerous opportunities to drive the training agenda and foster the professional development of our sales teammates nationwide.

  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

  1. Leadership and Management:

  Provide effective sales leadership and management.

  Develop and execute plans for internal marketing and communications materials.

  Establish and maintain internal client partnerships.

  Align sales resources with organizational objectives.

  2. Talent Management:

  Develop and implement sales talent management infrastructure.

  Conduct talent assessments, succession planning, and behavioral profiling.

  Drive processes to attract, select, manage, develop, and retain top talent.

  Promote the internal employee referral program.

  3. Training and Development:

  Design and deliver effective sales training content.

  Optimize the manager to sales representative interface.

  Transform content and messaging delivery to internal customers.

  Develop and deploy employee engagement and retention programs.

  4. Communication Skills:

  Develop and deliver clear and effective communication strategies.

  Communicate in a courteous, tactful, and concise manner.

  Collaborate with internal business leaders and human resources.

  5. Data Analysis and Metrics:

  Develop and track metrics for sales resource programs.

  Establish success criteria for sales activities.

  Utilize data for decision-making and continuous improvement.

  EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  Bachelor’s degree, required

  MBA or master’s degree, preferred

  10 years’ sales leadership role with at least 2 years of sales training experience

  Experience developing and deploying employee engagement and retention programs

  Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite

  Excellent spelling and grammar skills with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful and concise manner, is essential.

  Ability to travel overnight up to 25% of the time
