Reporting to the Vice President, Sales - US, the Director, Sales, will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Regional Sales Managers, driving customer acquisition, retention, and business growth. Your role will be critical in ensuring high performance from the sales team through effective leadership, training, and coaching. You will work closely with other departments and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for business expansion, and contribute to the overall success of Tripleseat as a leading SaaS company in the hospitality industry. The role of Director, Sales is not only pivotal in overseeing the sales team but also integral to fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, while maintaining an unwavering focus on both customer and employee satisfaction.

What you will do:
Team Leadership: The Director, Sales is entrusted with the leadership and guidance of a team of Regional Sales Managers. In addition to steering the team towards meeting and exceeding sales targets, this role is committed to infusing diversity and inclusion into the team's fabric. Hiring and Onboarding: Actively participating in the recruitment, onboarding, and training processes for new Regional Sales Managers, the Director ensures that diversity and inclusion are central to the team's composition. By fostering a supportive and growth-oriented onboarding experience, the Director contributes to the creation of a workforce that is representative of varied backgrounds and perspectives.
Collaboration: Collaboration is a cornerstone of success at Tripleseat, and the Director collaborates closely with internal teams, including account management, sales, and customer success. Accountability: The Director, Sales, ensures team accountability and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement for collective success in our dynamic sales environment.
Project Management: The Director, Sales will need to demonstrate a proven desire to own projects, exceed expectations and find solutions in a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, and tech-driven culture. Works closely with the Vice President, Sales, to drive customer acquisition, customer retention, and growth throughout the designated territory.
What we are looking for:
Sales Leadership Expertise: The ideal candidate for this role possesses a proven track record of success in developing and managing high-performing sales teams. Leadership skills extend beyond achieving sales targets to creating an inclusive environment where diverse talents are recognized and celebrated.
SaaS Sales Experience: With 2-5 years of experience in high velocity SaaS sales, preferably within the hospitality industry, the candidate brings a nuanced understanding of the diverse needs of our customers and the market at large.
Results-Driven Mindset:.The candidate should have a results-driven mindset and be skilled in utilizing metrics and insights to make informed decisions for the sales team
Problem-Solving Skills: In the fast-paced, high growth environment at Tripleseat, the candidate's solid problem-solving capabilities, adaptability, and flexibility are instrumental in maintaining an inclusive and diverse workplace that thrives on innovation.
Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills, particularly with Salesforce and other sales-related tools used in SaaS sales environments, are essential.
Collaboration Skills: The candidate's ability to collaborate effectively with other Tripleseat teams is crucial for maximizing revenue capture.
