This allows us to take a comprehensive, holistic approach to improving the lives of every person we serve - those who receive and those who reap the benefits of our innovative, responsive solutions.Job Description:  It is the responsibility of the Behavior Consultant ABA (BC-ABA) to plan, develop, and monitor behavioral support services to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as well as other behavioral disorders, all utilizing the science of Applied Behavioral Analytics. Primary duties include developing and overseeing the implementation of formal behavior management plans, conducting functional behavioral assessments, and data collection. The Behavior Consultant ABA also collaborates with caregivers, teachers, and other service providers, as well as provides training and direct support to Behavioral Health Technicians.Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time AvailabilityLocation: Allentown & Easton, PAProgram: IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services)Pay Rate: $32+/hourJob Functions:Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/proceduresReport to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive mannerComplete other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisorComplete 16 hours of Department of Human Services-approved training yearlyComplete all additional required training as per Professional Development PlanSubmit to Human Resources promptly copies of all required documentation regarding degrees, licenses, certifications, clearances, and formal trainingProvide clinical, mobile service delivery as defined by the program description, and best practice standards and in full compliance with licensure standardsCollect outcome data (i.e., Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), ATEC) for all clients at times of service re-authorizationProvide quality mobile services in line with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) standardsMaintain quality documentation of clinical ABA service deliveryMaintain quality documentation of other clinical service deliveryMaintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representativesProvide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, promptlySubmit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentationConduct assessments of all new IBHS clients on his/her caseloadDevelop and oversee of implementation of behavior management plansProvide crisis assessment and behavioral stabilization services as necessaryProvide case consultation to BHTs providing services on all shared cases and for other staff as required by the CoordinatorProvide clinical consultation to parents, extended family, teachers, and other adult caregivers regarding prescribed behavioral interventionsComplete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summariesProvide complete, accurate information regarding the frequency, intensity, and duration of both target behaviors and suggested replacement behaviors in Functional Behavior AssessmentsParticipate in 1 hour of individual face-to-face supervision monthly, as well as all applicable program staff meetingsPossess knowledge of the principles and implementation of conducting a functional behavioral assessmentPrompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skillsCollaborate with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environmentIncrease t e frequency or duration of safe and appropriate replacement behaviors by providing access to known reinforcersMinimum Requirements:Education/Experience/Licensure (Must Meet One of the Following Criteria):Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, and have a BC-ABA certificationBe licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, and have a minimum of 1 year of Full-time experience providing ABA services with a minimum of 12 credits from an accredited college or universityBe licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LSW, LBS, CRNP, and have a minimum of 1 year of Full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a person with a BCBA and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA-approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardBe licensed in the Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA-approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardRequired Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

  Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceCompensation Package: Chimes-Holcomb offers a generous benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available on the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment. Health insurance, including a flexible spending account, medical, dental, and vision are included. Paid holidays in addition to earned paid time off, 403(B) with company match, and 1-year salary of life insurance are available as well. Some benefits are available to employees working between 25-29 hours per week. Eligible employees can choose to participate in our transportation subsidy program, disability insurance, employee recognition programs, and referral bonuses.
