Logan Simpson has an immediate opening for a full-time Director ofLandscape Architecture and Urban Design based in downtown Tempe,Arizona. Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the Landscape and Urban Design Teams across multiple offices,collaborating closely with the Community Planning, Environmental, andCultural teams.
Take charge of project management responsibilities, including developingproposals, defining project scopes and budgets, establishing projectschedules, and conducting profitability analysis.
Provide supervision for both professional and technical staff,encompassing tasks such as recruitment, performance evaluations,optimizing staff member assignments, and fostering teamwork within thedepartment.
Efficiently manage team workflows, project assignments, overallschedules, and resource allocation to meet project requirements andtarget utilization.
Consistently embody the firm\'s vision, mission, and core values in yourwork and interactions.
Position Requires:
Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Community Planning, UrbanDesign, or closely related field.
15+ years of relevant consulting, agency, or municipal experience, withat least 2 of those years in consulting.
4+ years of supervisory and leadership experience.
Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) registration in Arizona.
Strong project management, client management, profit management, andpeople management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in related field.
Experience in a multidisciplinary consulting firm.
Business development experience.
Compensation:
This is a full-time position paid on a salaried basis between \$95,000to \$130,000 annually, depending on experience and education.
