　　The NBCU Local Division consists of 43 local NBC and TLMD stations and 6 Regional Sports Networks. The Vice President of FP&A will be a key member of the NBCU Local Headquarters Finance team that will help drive the financial and operating growth for the Division. Reporting into the SVP of FP&A, this role will work closely with NBCU Local finance leadership (HQ, Stations, and RSN’s) and have in-depth exposure to the business.

　　Primary responsibilities include ownership of the Consolidated Local (including NBC Stations, Telemundo Stations, and Regional Sports Networks) P&L and Free Cash Flow for all planning and estimate cycles, operational finance support for all HQ functions (including non-linear businesses), and management of our financial planning systems.

　　Responsibilities

　　Responsible for forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis of NBCUniversal Local’s businesses, including the Owned Stations and Regional Sports Networks.  

　　Provide high level financial modeling and analysis and be well-versed in the creation of dynamic financial models.  Must be able to dig into the details to analyze and understand causes of budget/actual variances.

　　Manage a high-functioning team of ten FP&A professionals.

　　Coordinate all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the business. 

　　Foster collaboration and streamline processes across the Regional Vice Presidents of Finance and Sales Finance team to gather information and insights for weekly reporting and monthly financial pacing reports.

　　Work with the various finance teams to consolidate financial results and provide variance explanations and guidance on financial matters

　　Lead annual Long-Range Plan and Budget processes, prepare supporting documentation, and develop presentations and decks for Local senior leadership and NBCUniversal executive management.

　　Aggregate financial and operational insights for CFO in preparation for pacings, op review meetings, and quarter closes.

　　Serve as main point of contact for the News Group and Corporate FP&A teams.

　　Work with SVP to prepare internal presentations for Monthly Operating Reviews.

　　Partner with NBCU Local EVP of Technical Operations on all aspects of Capital Planning including analysis on future ROI projects.

　　Partner with SVP Finance and SVP HR to create headcount and compensation review process; report and analyze payroll data on monthly and ad hoc basis.   

　　Partner with President, Group Leader, RSN’s on modeling and analysis related to the regional sports networks.

　　Lead reporting harmonization project, ensuring consistency in P&L views across Local and within NBC News Group.  Partner with SVP, CFO, News Group finance, and Controllership to define revenue and expense categories to accurately measure financial performance and implement necessary changes.

　　Oversee the division’s financial planning systems (BPC) including the creation of new forecast dimensions, proforma reporting, & lead ongoing systems improvement initiatives for the entire group.

　　Assign/execute on other ad hoc requests as assigned by the CFO and SVP.

　　Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience 

　　10-15 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting

　　Willingness to travel 

　　Must be willing to work in New York, NY
