　　As a counter sales associate, you will support the sales of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing products at our counter in New Hyde Park.

　　This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, on-site position. Hours vary from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

　　Salary Range: $17 - $22/hour

　　Counter Sales Associate Responsibilities :

　　Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.

　　Prospect and contact potential customers.

　　Reach agreed upon sales targets by deadlines.

　　Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

　　Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.

　　Create sales material to present to customers.

　　Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge, information, and promotions. Suggest alternative or additional product when appropriate.

　　Pick and fill orders when appropriate.

　　Ensure that orders leaving the warehouse are checked and accompanied by the appropriate documentation.

　　Purchase special order material, for customers, as per company procedure. Expedite open orders.

　　Process product returns, per company procedure assuring, that all documentation is collected.

　　Assist in maintaining the counter and product display area ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.

　　Assist warehouse, as needed.

　　Counter Sales Associate Qualifications :

　　Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields

　　Familiarity with CRM platforms

　　Ability to build rapport with clients

　　Strong negotiation skills

　　Deadline and detail-oriented.

　　A valid and clean driver's license to travel to local vendors as needed.

　　Prior relationships with the vendors relevant to our industry/business (Electrical, HVAC, Motors, Plumbing, Pumps, etc.) is a big plus.
