Millwright
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of mechanical tasks on paper mill machines and equipment to precision state.
The work includes installation, inspection, repairs, and rebuilding.
Maintain safe & clean work area. Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations and practices.
Must Adhere to all mill health and safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to injury/incident/concern reporting, participating in incident investigations, and learning events, and following any return-to-work requirements.
Other responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in an associated craft in an industrial environment and/or minimum of 6,000 hours documented on the job training.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must pass pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
Must be able to work in the United States and have acceptable I-9 documentation.
Read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, tape measures, etc.
Must join/be a member of USW Local 264 and meet/sustain requirements of the current appliable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Hours of work:
Must be willing to work varying shifts for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Must work overtime as needed.
