Amazon Meetings - Livestream is an internal streaming media service used by Amazonians to reach remote audiences and enables Amazonians to connect with leaders and co-workers, in real-time via a livestream or through a recorded video using their mobile devices and laptops. The team brings a scalable and accessible livestream experience to our customers, irrespective of their location or device.As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) , you will play a critical role in leading and driving the successful execution of complex, large-scale technology initiatives. You will work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of innovative solutions that enhance customer experience. You will be empowered to think big, invent on behalf of our customers, independently make judgment calls to keep teams moving and find solutions to hard problems. You will directly own the architecture, engineering quality and technical roadmap of the Livestream Service.You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. An ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected.This position involves regular coordination and communication at all levels of the enterprise. Deep knowledge of agile program management methodologies and strong technical competency are essential. The ideal candidate has thrived in delivering and influencing broad adoption of technology products/services in a dynamic environment.Qualified candidates have experience defining projects and features, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating large cross functional project tasks and schedules, regular status reporting, managing risks, and delivering complex projects with accurate results in large corporate environments.Candidates with expertise in Microsoft 365 productivity tools, including architecture, administration, knowledge of best practices, as well as experience in M365 security, legal, and regulatory/compliance controls, are strongly preferred.Key job responsibilities1. Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale, highly complex technical programs, from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.2. Develop and execute program plans, including scope, goals, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management, while tracking and reporting on progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.3. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, establish priorities, and drive cross-functional teams towards successful project outcomes.4. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and drive efficiency.5. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership, and serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on program execution and risk management.6. Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, implementing appropriate contingency plans and escalating as necessary.7. Mentor and guide junior TPMs across the org, providing support and expertise in program management best practices, fostering their growth and development within the organization.7.
