Description

　　SAIC is seeking technical resources to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, Supply Chain Modernization program. The focus on this program is modernize and transform process, tools, data, and systems that are used to manage supplies and assets across the Department. These positions will provide a range of services to design, configure, implement, test, secure, accredit, operate, and maintain a modern supply chain management system of systems.

　　The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing DevSecOps platforms. Ensure continuous availability of various DevSecOps tools supporting software configuration management and release management including source control, containerization, continuous integration, & change management (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, JIRA, SonarQube, Terraform, AWS CLI). Work with cross-functional co-located teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams. Will operate as a technical expert on DevSecOps infrastructure projects pertaining to containerization, systems management, design and architecture. Perform performance analysis and optimization, monitoring and problem resolution, upgrade planning and execution, and process creation and documentation. Integrate newly developed and existing applications into private, public and hybrid cloud environments. Automate deployment pipelines in a scalable, secure and reliable manner. Leverage application monitoring tools to troubleshoot and diagnose environment issues.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

　　Knowledge and experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS cloud formation. Experience working in a large software development program using Agile development methodology. Experienced in the development of end-to-end solutions supporting deployments across multiple environments. Familiar with various branching strategies. Over 5 Years of functional experience supporting DevSecOps to reengineer and automate the software development process.

　　Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
