Under thegeneral supervision of the City Manager's Office, the CommunicationsManager will support the City's strategic plan, by leading publicrelations efforts with the goal of engaging Louisville residents andvisitors, and conveying information about the City, its programs andservices through the City's website, social media, video, photos,press releases, other print or electronic resources and special events. Mustbe able to develop proactive communication strategies, including sharinginformation with the community, responding to inquiries, and seeking inputfor important decisions. Must be able to build and maintain strongrelationships within the organization to work collaboratively to developstrategies for public outreach.
