Commercial Alliance Manager, Financial Close
Location:
Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in; Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; Dallas, TX; and Denver, CO. Other cities are welcomed remotely.
Summary:
As the Commercial Manager within Financial Close, you will serve as an integral member of Clearsulting. You will serve as an advisor and champion strategic alliance activities. Our Financial Close practice will be your internal customer. You will help bring our business strategies to life by working with our teams to execute our alliance strategies and plans. This role will support our existing alliance within our Financial Close practice.

Qualifications & Desired Skills:
5+ years of Strategic Alliances experience (professional services strongly preferred)
Understanding of Strategic Alliance leading practices and ability to identify opportunities and implement initiatives to drive sustainable change
Highly proficient at researching, organization, and communication with internal and external stakeholders
Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) technology providers and overall market and related strategies to grow relationships with those providers (BlackLine preferred)
Demonstrated ability to team and collaborate across business units and functions to achieve common goals
Bachelor's Degree in business-related field of study
Ability to manage people, develop teams, and coach more junior team members
Ability to maintain and enhance the Clearsulting culture – build meaningful relationships with alliances and colleagues, demonstrate the Clearsulting Core Values each day
Eligibility to work in the United States
Willingness and ability to travel, as needed
Responsibilities:
Own consistent, continual improvement of the Clearsulting Alliance Management framework and establish standard tools and enablers for the Financial Close Practice to adopt and grow Strategic Alliance partner relationships.
Partner with Financial Close Practice leadership and commercial teams to integrate alliance strategy into annual and long-term planning.
Collaborate with Financial Close Practice commercial teams on tactical alliance marketing plans and execution.
Work with Financial Close Practice teams to understand progress against plans and identify and resolve challenges.
Develop relationships with Alliance leadership and sales teams to grow Clearsulting brand, pipeline and overall capability awareness.
Support, coach on and directly manage alliance escalations as well as help Practices navigate any Alliance conflict.
Engage with our Client Relationship, Practice Commercial, and Consulting teams to support account expansion.
