Job Title: Clinical Trial Associate
Location: Groton, CT
Type: 12 month contract
Hours/Schedule: Typical work week with occasional nights or weekends as needed.
*Fluent in Japanese (Dual Language: English and Native-Japanese)
Responsibilities:
• Activities related to the recruitment of clinical trial participants to conduct Phase 1 clinical trials
• Development of recruitment and advertising materials for submission to IRB in English and Japanese
• Be the point of contact at the call center when a Japanese-speaking participant contacts the unit for participation in a study
• Perform phone screening of potential trial participants in English and Japanese
• Enroll participants in a study according to the criteria of the study and the medical history of the participant
• Plan and implement recruitment campaigns according to clinical trial protocol requirements
• Clinical trials source documentation upholding tenets of Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Review and interpret clinical trial protocols and informed consent documents (ICDs)
• Serve as on-site point of contact for Japanese study participants during screening, admission, and follow up visits, as needed
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• **Fluent in Japanese (Dual Language: English and Native-Japanese)
• At least 1-year prior experience in healthcare or research environment required, Phase 1 research preferred
• Prior experience in clinical trials participant recruitment preferred
• Prior experience in customer service preferred
Preferred:
• Phase 1 research experience
• Interpreter-*Fluent in Japanese (Dual Language: English and Native-Japanese)
