Put into effect and cultivate data-driven planning processes and improve upon monthly and quarterly reporting. This Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for driving world class strategic and financial planning methods, building long-range operating plans to support business initiatives and developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness. You will produce variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. This role will allow you to directly be involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. What you get to do every day:
Support the FP& A framework and business planning processes to deliver strong, risk-balanced plans for continued business growth.
Prepare clear, metric-based financial and operating plans including monthly projections, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts/outlooks, long range plans, and monthly operating/business reviews.
Conduct financial benchmarking and reporting of key performance indicators.
Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews that include variance, trend, and KPI analysis to the team as well as how the variances affect the future forecast.
Work with Business Intelligence dashboard team to mine the data critical for developing dashboards that enable the team to optimize and understand drivers of the business and answer critical business questions.
Requirements
The ideal Senior Financial Analyst candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
Other requirements for the Senior Financial Analyst position include and are not limited to:
3+ years in a financiall role
2+ years focused FP& A experience
Exception Excel based modeling skills
Proficiency in Power Point
Familiarity with Cube financial reporting, Quickbooks or similar applications
Familiarity with SQL preferred
Professional services industry experience preferred
Strong technical aptitude and data mining skills
