Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) combine clinical expertise and a passion for teaching in the clinical and classroom setting. CNEs design, implement, evaluate and revise in-services, continuing education, and orientation programs as they pertain to the nursing department. CNEs serve as role models and mentors to clinical staff, providing leadership and support. Job Details POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Current NY State license as a Registered Nurse required. BSN required. Masters in Nursing or enrolled in Master's program required. Certification in area of expertise Must have knowledge of hospital policy and procedures Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of adult learning principles required. Current BLS and ACLS required. Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point required Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced team environment Requires sound critical thinking skills Must be flexible with time assignment and accommodate the needs of the department. Salary Range USD $63.45 - USD $70.66 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
