Description:

　　Our client is seeking multiple Civil Engineers/Designers. This position reports directly to the Project Manager or Detroit Market Lead. They have have 3 different local metro Detroit offices, and these positions could sit out of any of them, or even Lansing or Grand Rapids offices, based on where they live.

　　Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

　　Will be performing design, engineering calculations, and reports, do site visits, support permit application, construction assistance, and evaluates land use and zoning requirements.

　　Will use AutoCAD and Civil 3D daily for the design work .

　　Will mainly support private sector projects or K-12 projects, but could also support some city projects when needed.

　　Between the 2 managers in their 2 Detroit area offices that have the hiring needs, they will decide where the best fit is. The Rochester Hills team mainly does site/land development work, and will focus on grading, drainage, sanitary/sewer, and utilities work. The Detroit team focuses mixed-use urban infill, sustainable design, and stormwater best management practices. The ideal candidate for that office is passionate about the advancement of the City of Detroit, experienced with the unique requirements of design and permitting within an urban context, and demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills due to the small team dynamic and team collaboration.

　　Qualifications:

　　3 plus years of experience in Civil Site Development design

　　Civil 3D Design skills

　　Experience designing grading, drainage, utilities, sanitary/sewer, etc.

　　BONUS:

　　Civil Engineering degree

　　EIT or PE

　　Urban planning/design experience

　　K-12 Site Design experience
