　　Position Duties and Responsibilities:**

　　Perform various administrative functions as directed: answering telephones and transcribing accurate messages, assisting with patient check-in, assisting with scheduling appointments, properly filing documents including lab chits, consultations, treatment forms and other administrative duties.Transport specimens and patients to other clinical areas as needed.Administer medications to patients as directed.Inform the nurse, physician extender or physician of the patients condition and potential problems.Assist the provider as needed during exams to include womens health exams.*Minimum Qualifications: *

　　Certificate.Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists or a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.Certified Medical Assistant Only: Current certification as a medical assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants or Current registration by the American Medical Technologists or other formal program.One year of experience as a Medical Assistant after graduation.Must be a US Citizen.Potomac Healthcare Solutions offers the following benefits:
