Business Office Representative Essential Functions Process charges, payments, and adjustments Claim submission and follow up Manage prior authorizations Provider credentialing Manage patient accounts and inquiries Performs pre-registration of patient appointments Stay current on all insurance policies and procedures that affect the company and inform others of such changes in a proactive manner Stays current with all CPT and ICD10 changes Stays current on insurance verification systems and processes Other Essential Functions Must present self at the workstation, ready for work, at the scheduled time Create an exceptional patient experience Communicate effectively with supervisor, manager, and/or director Participate in department and company meetings, as requested Work as a team with other departments Perform other duties as assigned
